I often bake bread at home, usually gluten-free. This time I was expecting guests so I didn’t take my gluten-free diet that seriously. I quickly baked a not-as-unhealthy-as-simple-white-bread type bread. This is more than a compromise, because only half of the flour is okay with my rules but it is a type of bread that is acceptable for white-bread-lovers. And it’s quick, you just have to mix everything and put it into the oven.
1 cup oat bran
1 cup general flour
2 cups water
2 tablespoons of sesame seed
2 tablespoons of flaxseed
salt
1 pinch of cooking powder
You just put every dry ingredient in a bowl, mix it and start adding the water. Sometimes you don’t need the whole amount of water, it depends on the quality of the oats. You may add one tablespoon of coconut oil if you find it too dry. This time I didn’t add any.
