Monday is the day when I devote some time for myself, this is the time when it’s 100% sure I make some time for my own workout, which is just for my own pleasure. So, I decided to share some of my favorite exercises on Mondays. Just in a totally random order.
Superman Plank
Start in a plank position, wrists are under the shoulder, abs and glutes are engaged. Spread your fingers to support yourself and protect your wrists. While inhaling, raise your right arm and extend out in front of you in shoulder-hight. At the same time, lift your left leg up in the air (in level with your back). Hold this position for the desired time. Or just do it for one inhale and exhale at a time – lift your arm and leg while inhaling and lower them while exhaling, alternating sides.
Make sure you don’t flex your hips too much. Although your hips should be straight, in line with your shoulders and heels, never flex too much just make sure your lower back is neutral. Don’t forget to tuck your shoulder blades down and back.
